Taylor Swift’s back-to-back concerts in Vienna (Austria) recently followed terror threats at the scheduled stadium. As notified by the organisers, an attack was planned at the Ernst Happel Stadium. Thus, the concerts were cancelled and all the tickets were automatically refunded. While this left all the fans very disappointed, they didn’t allow their spirits to die. Many of them took to the streets for a gathering to sing Swift’s songs and celebrate the moment. Videos of the same are going viral on the internet, showing the locals in Vienna gathering for the musical evening.

In one of the BBC videos, the people could be seen exchanging friendship bracelets and even having food and drinks together. As they sing the iconic Haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate song, many join in the conversation and share their excitement. “Hundreds of Swifties staged an impromptu open-air gathering to overcome the disappointment of not seeing the US superstar on her record-breaking Eras tour,” the caption read.

“It really shows that I mean, even if they try to destroy our Taylor Swift spirit, they really can’t,” one of the fans says in the video, while another adds, “This is amazing, heartwarming, and lovely. So, we’re trying to look at the bright side.”

One of them expressed gratitude for being safe in the sombre environment after discovering the news. On the other hand, social media users also reacted to the video with diverse comments. A person wrote, “I’m no Taylor fan, but this is actually pretty heartwarming,” while another commented, “Swifties come back stronger than a 90‘s trend!”
