Yuvraj Singh Celebrates Neeraj Chopra's 'Golden Moment' At Paris Olympics 2024

Neeraj Chopra joined an elite list of Indian athletes on Thursday (August 8) by winning his second medal in the Olympics. The 26-year-old from Haryana finished second in the men’s javelin throw final at the Paris Olympics 2024. He touched the distance of 89.45 m in the second attempt, which was enough to guarantee him a place on the podium.
Neeraj’s second back-to-back Olympic medal helped him establish himself as India’s most successful individual athlete in Olympic history, and his feat was celebrated by Indians across the globe.
Among the list of legends who praised Neeraj for his super achievement was former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, who took to X to share his happiness.
The 2011 World Cup winner wrote on social media that the Paris Olympic medallist has “brought a golden moment for every Indian heart.”
Yuvraj also did not forget to congratulate Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem, who won the gold medal by registering a record-breaking throw of 92.97 m.
